Overview

Something Wicked This Way Comes is a dark fantasy novel by legendary science fiction writer Ray Bradbury that was first published in 1962. It is about two 13-year-old boys who encounter sinister elements when a freakish traveling carnival visits their small town in the Midwest. The title is reference to a quote spoken by one of the witches in William Shakespeare's Macbeth. In 1983, Something Wicked This Way Comes was adapted into a Disney film with a screenplay by Bradbury.
