Overview

Written by the American behavioral psychologist B. F. Skinner, Walden Two is a utopian novel that was first published in 1948. The story follows a group of characters who visit a fictional community called Walden Two, which is run on the principles of behaviorism by a psychologist named T. E. Frazier. Through the description of this experimental utopia, the novel explores themes of change and autonomy, as well as the implications of this type of society for individual freedom and happiness.
