Violet Sorrengail

A clever and courageous second-year in the Rider Quadrant at Basgiath War College, and the protagonist of the series. Violet is determined to find the cure for venin so that she can save Xaden and defeat the venin army once and for all. Her leadership skills are put to the test when she embarks on a dangerous and difficult quest to track down the irids—the elusive seventh dragon breed that Violet believes is the key to winning the war. Violet suffers from chronic pain issues which impacts her daily life and forces her to work twice as hard to keep up with her fellow cadets. Her signets allow her to wield lightning and to dream-walk, and her dragons are Tairn and Andarna.
