Overview

Glengarry Glen Ross is a play by American playwright David Mamet that was first performed in 1983. The play is a scathing critique of American capitalism and the lengths to which people will go to get ahead. It follows four real estate agents who are desperate to make sales and keep their jobs, and the lengths to which they will go to do so. The play won the 1984 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and was adapted into a film in 1992.
